With the endless black sand beach below your feet, Dyrhólaey sits as one of the most underrated staples for Iceland couples photography and the South Coast of Iceland. On this particular morning, we had the sights all to ourselves – and in a peaceful manner. While usually swept by the winds, it was a particularly calm day on the coast.
In addition, the moodiness provided us with beautiful even lighting. There’s no denying that Iceland is a truly magical place. However, mornings like this bring to light that it’s truly an anomaly of beauty. A barren landscape that has found life, hope and shares a beautiful story for all to see and experience.
