Any wedding photographer in Iceland will tell you that the country’s stunning beauty makes it one of the best destination wedding locations in the world. It’s outer worldly landscapes mixed with beautiful architecture and peaceful countryside make it one of the best places to get married. Here’s a few Iceland wedding photos to give you some inspiration.

My Favorite Wedding Venues & Locations In Iceland

Iceland Wedding Venues

Iceland Wedding venue Búðakirkja, the The Black Church of Budir, Iceland.
Skógafoss Waterfall, an Iceland Wedding Location and Venue.

Located on the South Coast of Iceland, Skógafoss Waterfall has long been a popular Iceland wedding location and venue. It’s one of the most easily accessible day trips in Iceland, and it’s natural beauty stands tall.

These two locations are right next to one another and a sight to see. Jökulsárlón Iceberg Lagoon features three story tall Icebergs, while the Diamond beach golden sunsets highlight the Icebergs that have been finely polished.

Stokksnes features some of the finest stretch of coastline in Iceland. It’s stunning, jagged peaks rise from the coast, seemingly touching the ocean. It’s truly a sight to see and is perfect for more cinematic wedding photos in Iceland.

While not majorly popular, Seydisfjordur is a beautiful, quiet coastal town in the Eastfjords. It’s natural coastal beauty shines through and it’s the perfect wedding location in Iceland for anyone wanting a relaxed, people free location.

Due to it’s distance away from any major city or town, The Westfjords region sits largely untouched. However, it’s easily the most beautiful place in Iceland. From waterfalls to coastal cliffs, it’s stunning.

With multiple waterfalls, beautiful stretches of coastline, and mountainous beauty, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula is perfect for coastal elopements and wedding in Iceland with a more laid-back approach.

Next Steps, Booking and Planning

Let’s schedule a time to talk. On our call, we can get to know one another and you all can share what you’re looking for to determine if we’re a good fit for one another (both creatively and personally).

This is a very laid-back call and there’s no need or pressure to pick out a package.

Pick Your Coverage

Every wedding and elopement day has different needs. While one of the packages above might meet your needs, in the case it doesn’t, I’m more than happy to customize a few coverage options for you.

To do so, just send me an email and I’d be more than happy to create some custom options.

Once you choose your coverage, I’ll plug your package details into an e-contract and send it over for your review & signatures. This will outline your coverage, delivery dates and deliverable photographs or videos.

After signatures, and payment of a 25% retainer we’ll be official.

Once booking is complete, I’ll give you access to your own Iceland planning portal. This will include my travel guide and everything you need to book your trip and start planning your wedding.

However, just know that I’ll be there every step of the way. We can always hop on a call to plan.
