Colorado is a great place to get married in any season. Here’s what to expect within each season:

January – April: The beginning of the year can be a great time to get married in Colorado, especially if you’re having a destination wedding. Most ski resorts and mountain towns will be in full winter capacity, which is a true Colorado experience. If you’re looking for a snowy wedding, this is the perfect time.

May – August: This is my favorite times for weddings in Colorado. If you are looking for more greenery & cool summer nights, plan for late May – June. Notably, lower elevations won’t be as hot and mountain locations will feel perfect. Afternoon showers are common, but overall the weather is great. However, things do get warmer and dryer in July & August, especially at lower elevations (Denver, etc.)

September – October: Fall in Colorado is another personal favorite. If you can time your date with the fall colors it will be incredibly beautiful. Notably, there are multiple areas within Colorado that chance colors at different times, over the course of September & October, so be sure to do research on your specific location.

November & December: This is not a very common time for weddings in Colorado. Notably, the leaves and colors have passed and most locations feel very brown if the snow hasn’t set in. While this is a great time to get better rates for venues, it’s not always the Colorado experience that most expect.
